Me, a triathlete?

Triladies gives you an environment which understands about babysitting clashing with training, training and maintaining fitness through your pregnancy, yoga-to-cycling conversions, great running bras, breastfeeding and  hydration issues and (heaven forbid) bulky thighs.

Yes, we¨ll forgive you for being a mum and a triathlete and help you with your fine balancing act between the kids¨ art class and a 10 km run (luxury!).

Triladies is where you can bitch about the same men who open doors for you in civilian garb but who push you under the water to overtake, in a tri setting! It is a community of strong women who love the sport and who will help you love it so much that you won¨t mind anymore the flat chest that goes with it!

Is triathlon different for women? Let accomplished women athletes in the sport teach you what they themselves have learnt training, racing, and living the sport of triathlon.

 

About Us >> Who We Are



Triladies was formed by a group of girlfriends in Singapore who discovered triathlons late (probably a by-product of having triathlete husbands!). When we started getting interested in triathlon training, we realised just how intimidating and frankly, inaccessible the sport is for women juggling careers, families and with no athletic background to start out with.
 

After a few women-only runs and sports events, this is what we discovered: How enjoyable and encouraging a nurturing and empathetic environment (of women) is for a recreational woman triathlete trying to gain stamina, technique and speed (yes, it does happen!).
 

So, armed with a collective experience of more than 25 years of event management, marketing & communications experience, journalism, magazine editing, and the fashion & beauty industry, Triladies was born.
 

Our aim: to build a sisterhood of triathletes and help women realise their athletic best but with a few giggles and ok, fab-looking gear!
